Not yet, but animated GIF support coming very soon, and video shortly after.

Are my uploaded images made public?
Yes, for now we are trying to build up the shared meme library, so all uploads are likely to be publically available.
Do you save my generated meme images?
Yes, to help you create a share page where we can capture likes and, in the future, comments, we need to save it. We will have a "private" generated feature coming soon!
Can I create private memes?
Not yet, but we will be adding the Private meme feature soon.
Can I upload ANY image?
No, our terms of service can be found here - but TL;DR, don't upload anything illegal, any nudity, or anything you don't have permission to upload.
How do I search or browse for meme templates?
Use the search bar above the meme template list. If you didn't find something that you know we have, please send us feedback about the search that didn't work well.

How do I report an image that I don't like?
Is it against our terms of service? If it's just something you don't find funny, then we suggest you just keep scrolling.
If you think it's problematic and our ToS doesn't cover it, then please let us know and we'll review it.
Where is your privacy policy?
Well, it's pretty basic as we currently don't have any accounts - but we do optionally collect your email for our newsletter. If you want us to remove you from this list, just drop us a line.
We do also connect anonymous basic analytics to figure out how people use our site and if it's all working properly. Lastly, we do save all images uploaded to Downmix It, so please only upload things you have permission to make public and want to make public (private feature coming soon). If you upload a picture that you didn't realise would be public, or don't have permission to upload, just message us with the link to the image and details and we'll look into it.
Do you have ads?
We are a completely bootstrapped product, and we may need to figure out how to keep the lights on soon. But generally we hate ads, and the attention economy, so we'll do our best to ensure we never have anything obnoxious and try to figure out better ways to pay the bills.
